It is locally owned and operated by an active and ever present manager with a keen eye for detail. When we visited we were impressed by the cleanliness, the sturdy construction, which helps keep things quiet, and the number of staff that were on duty serving the guests. The rooms are nicely furnished in a motel style, and the entire place is kept immaculately clean. They have recently added a very nice new building, and now have 5 different room styles, including a self contained studio apartment, a premier room, family suites, and what we consider to be the nicest budget hotel rooms in town. Because the Queens Court is located on a main street leading out of town, you can amble into the downtown area or easily hop a bus to the beach. The Queens Court seems ideal for travelers interested in interacting with others with similar interests. The friendly atmosphere is marked by frequent small social gatherings at the small pool, barbecue, and café area. Mornings are quite active, with people mulling about, indulging in the complimentary continental breakfast and preparing for their adventures, be they day dives or beach excursions.
