The Trip With this trip Cape Trib Connections has put together a great overnight visit to Cape Tribulation. On the way up and back the trip is a full-featured tour, stopping at all the top spots along the way, to go for a swim, to see wildlife, to cruise the Daintree River, not much is left out. What’s more, you have the choice of staying at any of six different lodgings in the Cape Tribulation area, so that you can select the place to stay that suits you, be it large or small, active/social or quite/private, beachside or in the Rainforest. You will lots of free time to do what you want to, (and lots of activities to choose form.) stay overnight, and even enjoy the morning of the next day. Here’s what you will do on the way up and back from Cape Tribulation: -Morning coffee/tea and a walk thorough the Daitnree Mangrove Wildlife Sanctuary. -Alexandra Range lookout, specatular views. -Walks throught the tropical rainforest -A stop at the Daintree ice cream company. -A cruise on the Daintree River, looking for wildlife, including crocodiles. -An afternoon swim in Mossman gorge. Here’s the choices of where you can stay: Cape Trib Farmstay: Quiet and private double/twin cabins scattered through an organic tropical fruit orchard, with communal kitchen, and a short walk to Cape Trib village and the beach. Cape Trib Beach House: Dorm beds, double and twin rooms, in small cabins set in the beachside rainforest. Steps to the beach, 2 km walk to Cape Tribulation village. Pool, café, bar, communal kitchen. PK’s Jungle Village; One of the original and most actively social backpacker lodgings in Cape Trib Village. Dorm beds, double and twin rooms, all 5 min. walk from Cape Trib Beach.
