The Trip This trip takes o full day, and during the morning you will spend three hours sea kayaking around Fitzroy Island. You will stop to visit interesting sites along the way. About three kilometers long, Fitzroy is marked by a resort and an aquaculture "farm" that raises giant clams. Most of the island remains undisturbed, including its forests and beaches, many of which are accessible only by kayak. n the afternoon you are free to explore the island on foot, keep in mind that facilities on the island are minimal at this time, you should bring food and watere foro the afternoon with you. A large power cat ferry will take you to and from the island, which is located about 45 minutes offshore from Cairns The minimum age for this trip is 14.
