The Company

© Fine Feather ToursFine Feather Tours is another of the many small family owned and operated companies operating in the area. Des and Pat Richards run these unique and specialized tours, focusing on the bird life in what is the richest birding area in Australia. They have been in operation since 1995, and during that time have helped birders and photographers from all over the world enjoy the biodiversity of the area.

For those keen birders staying in Cairns, we recommend you consider renting a car and driving up to take one of these tours. It takes just less than an hour to drive up to Port Douglas, and is a beautiful stretch of road along the coast.
