This outstanding day tour takes in some of the less frequently visiited but amazing sights in the tropical rairnforests and national parks that lie south of Cairns. In this very full day you will see beatiful waterfalls, volcanic lakes, and narrow gorges, all surrounded by lush tropcial rainforest.
There's lots to see and do at each of these stops.
For us the highlight of the trip would be getting into some rarely accessed rainforest in the Misty Mountains to the south of Cairns, with a qualified guide that knows where to find some of the elusive wildlife that's found there. Your highlight might be different, as the trip also visits waterfalls and swimming holes, and does a cruise down the Mulgrave River as well. !
We also like the lunch stop, which is a lunch buffet at a great local café.
Coming from overseas? Keep in mind that the guides on this trip are multilingual, with French, Italian, and Spansih speaking guides working on Monday through Friday, and German speaking guides working on Tu,W and F.
