The Trip This nine-day safari has you flying the first leg of the safari, then journeying back to Cairns over the next 9 days. There is one layover day, up at the tip of Cape York, which gives you time to explore some of the many features in the area, including taking the ferry across to Thursday Island. The remaining days are travel days, where you will visit the outstanding features of this wilderness area while traveling the dirt tracks back to Cairns.
