Billy Tea Bush Safaris is one of the most experienced family-owned safari companies in the North. The company is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Berrick and Marilyn Barnes, who have been at the helm of the company since founding it in 1981, and pride themselves in running top-notch trips, staffed by experienced and capable guides.
Using their small fleet of 7 and 13 passenger Toyota Land cruisers, and fully decked out supply trailers, the company operates one-day tours of the Cape Tribulation area, as well as 9 and 14-day safaris into Cape York. They are strong believers in sustainable ecotourism and back that up with a National ecotourism accreditation.
