The Trip This 13-day trip combines a nine-day overland camping adventure on the Cape York Penisula with a 3-day sea cruise between the tip of the Cape York and Cairns aboarrd a merchant sea vessel. There are is two layover days, both up at the tip of Cape York, which gives you time to explore some of the many features in the area, including taking the ferry across to Thursday Island.
