This course includes dives aboard Kangaroo Explorer, an 82 foot Catamaran with a maximum of 10 student divers. The dive trip included in the course is for 4 days, 1 night, and allows 5 dives.
The MV Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 82-foot power catamaran, specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising. Each of the 16 large cabins is fully carpeted with ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, and window or porthole. There is ample space on the three deck levels. Other features include the relaxing lounge, sun deck, library and fully licensed bar. The ship is fully equipped with the latest navigational equipment, all safety gear and ship to shore radio. This is a very comfortable and stylish boat, and is ideally suited for multi day dive trips.
The most recent improvement to this boat is the newly expanded dive deck, which expands the space available to divers gearing up and entering the water.

Cairns Dive Center is an SSI Career Development Center, and as such has trained many of the dive masters and instructors working in the area.
We have had many clients dive and train with CDC, and they have found the staff to be friendly, upbeat, helpful and professional, and the operation to be very well run.
