2-night Island Sail/Snorkel Trip
Aboard Spank Me
Book This Trip
This trip is aboard Spank Me, a Mono Hull Sailboat with a maximum of 26 divers and a Dive Staff of 4. It is for 3 days, 2 nights.
Departure is from Oz Sail Offices, 398 Shute Harbor Rd, Airlie Beach, Airlie Beach at 12:30 PM Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, return time 11:00 AM.
This two-night trip explores the World Heritage listed Whitsunday Islands, including Whitehaven Beach and allows you to go snorkelling on the reefs that fringe the islands and beaches here.
This boat was at one time a serious racing yacht, so expect some quick sailing action.
The boat was build for speed, not for comfort and luxury, so while itís a great adventure, there are boats with more private and comfortable sleeping arrangements.
For those who want to get involved in the sailing, the experienced crew will need the help of enthusiastic passengers to get on the grinder and pull up the main sail. Come and get involved and explore, or sit back and relax on the spacious deck. Spank Me has something for everyone!
For more info about this boat, see the floorplan.
Experience the best of the Whitsunday Islands and Outer Reef on board the eco-accredited Spank Me, a 23.9 metre Maxi. Built in 1989 the boat won the 1989 Sydney to Hobart Race before relocating overseas to compete for the next decade. She returned home to Australia in 2004 and now takes 28 guests on 3 day/3 night sailing and diving trips
Accommodation on board reflects the racing history of the vessel, with all berths being share cabins. If you are looking for private lodging, this is not the vessel for you, but if you are looking for high performance sailing in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia this just might be it!
