Departure is from Marina Mirage, Port Douglas at 9:00 AM every day, return time 4:30 PM.
The Dive
For snorkellers, Pure Snorkel is by far our favorite day on the water out of Port Douglas. We very much like the fact that this boat focuses solely on snorkelling, as well as the fact that it’s half the size of the other dive boats operating in the area, as we prefer smaller groups.
We also like the open itinerary that’s available on board.
 This boat is quick, and with a speed of 30 knots and a open diving permit, this boat has many reef sites to choose from, with the skipper having many choices when it comes to selecting the three moorings that will provide you with the best conditions of the day.
Pure Snorkel’s staff also takes a personal approach with their guests, and make sure everyone is having the best day possible.
The Boat
Pure Snorkel is the newest of the two vessels operating in Port Douglas with a sole focus of serving small groups of snorkellers. This 15-metre boat is capable of speeds up to 30 knots, which meeans it can access some amazing snorkelling sites that aree out of range of the other dive boats operating out of Port Douglas.
The boat is custom-bulit to be a confirmatable and smooth ride to the reef. We really like the full features of the boat designed to make snorkelling easy and your time above the water just as enjoyable as when you are in the water.
Most importantly we like the size of the boat. Calypso sets the limte at just 33 guests, so this boat has half the group size of most other reef boat operating in Port Douglas, and we like the more intimate and small group experience that this boat can provide.
