It is for 7 days, 6 nights, and allows 24 dives, plus 4 night dives. Departure Information Departure is from Cairns Colonial Club, Cairns at 7:00 PM Thursdays, return time 8:00 AM. The Dive This seven-day trip visits the two world class dive regions of the Northern Great Barrier Reef region, spending time at both the Ribbon Reefs and far out in the Coral Sea, at Osprey Reef. There is so much to see on this trip that it’s not possible to list it all here. The best part of this trip is the diversity of diving, there’s something for every diver. On the Ribbon Reefs there is great diving amongst coral gardens, along reef walls, and on isolated coral pinnacles, each with their own mix of reef life large and small. On Osprey Reef there are dramatic wall dives, large pelagic fish, including sharks and the unique reef life of the Coral Sea. Divers make up to 28 dives on this trip. Mike Ball Dive is known for the high standard of care of their guests, and you can expect great food and hospitality, and high ratio of staff to guests that have made this company well known amongst the diving community. At 100 feet in length with a 36-foot beam, this powerful twin hull boat makes for a stable and fast dive platform. There is plenty of space for the 29 passengers. All rooms and cabins are air-conditioned. Ten crewmembers supervise the dive, and care for the cabins daily.
