This trip is aboard Summertime, a 60 foot Mono Hull Sailboat with a maximum of 16 divers and a Dive Staff of 1. It is for 3 days, 2 nights, and allows 2 dives.
Departure Information
Departure is from Airlie Beach at 9:30 AM Thursdays and Sundays, return time 3:30 PM.
The Dive
This three-day/two night trip is a great option for persons that want to satisfy their varied interests. Summertime not only offers a unique sailing experience, (hands-on for those that want it) through the beautiful Whitsunday Island Chain, but also the chance to go snorkeling and scuba diving on the reefs that fringe these island.
 The boat is also equipped with inflatable kayaks for those that want to use them.
The itinerary includes visits to beautiful beaches, where you can choose between snorkeling and diving the clear waters, or go bushwalking the National Park areas that lie behind the beaches. The boat prides itself on having diversely skilled crew that can provide competent guidance for you, no matter what you choose to do.
Snorkelling and diving is usually done either off the beaches the boat visits, or using a motorized dinghy to take you to more distant dive locations.

The Boat
Handcrafted in 1947 by master shipwrights, Summertime is a 17-metre square-rigged sailing vessel which has a rich history and has been lovingly restored and immaculately maintained. While retaining all of her old world charm, modern comforts such as an onboard freshwater hot Jacuzzi, hi tech DVD/PC entertainment system, and full air conditioning throughout bring the boat up to par with any dive boat. The boat can carry up to 16 guests in private double, twin-share and four-share cabins.
