Departure Information
Departure is from Breakwater Marina, Townsville at 7:30 AM Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, return time 5:00 PM.
The Dive
Only have a day to see the Yongala Wreck? Here's a one-day dive option, perfect for those not interested in a longer liveaboard trip or without the time to take one. The day gets you out for two dives on the Yongala wreck.
The Yongala wreck is a technical dive. For safe diving Adrenalin Dive requires divers to have a minimum of 6 logged dives. Divers with 6 to 15 logged dives must pay to be guided by the divemaster, an extra AUD$30. As with Yongala trips run by all operators, wind, tide and wave conditions may prevent diving on the wreck, and in that case that day’s diving is done on the Great Barrier Reef. If a visit to the Yongala is cancelled, guests are offerred either a full refund or a rescheduled dive date.
The Boat
Adrenalin Dive is a 45-foot monohull, capable of taking up to 35 divers out to the Yongala wreck at a time. The boat is well-designed for it's purpose, capable of making a quick and stable trip under almost any seas. There is lots of enclosed deck space to keep you out of the wind, as well as a large dive deck, with both ample space for gearing up, and a stern-wide water level dive platform for easy entrys and exits.

The company is currently locally owned, in fact, the have a sister company in Townsville named Pro Dive Townsville, that operates both a dive school and a live aboard boat.
