Departure Information
Departure is from Your Townsville lodging, Townsville at 7:00 AM Thursdays, return time 6:00 PM.
The Dive
This dive course is unique, as it combines a PADI openwater dive certification course with a 2-night live aboard dive trip that visits both the Great Barrier Reef and the Yongala Wreck.
While taking this course you can make up to nine dives; the four training dives that are a part of every dive course, plus up to five additional dives as a newly certified diver.
This course is also unique because the first two days of instruction take place on beautiful Magnetic Island, which makes the course feel like an adventurous part of a relaxed island holiday.
These five additional dives include dives on the Great Barrier Reef, plus a guided deep adventure dive on the spectacular Yongala Wreck.
