This trip is aboard Spirit of Freedom, a 122 foot Mono Hull with a maximum of 26 divers and a Dive Staff of 3. It is for 8 days, 7 nights, and allows 20 dives, plus 4 night dives.
Departure Information
Departure is from your Cairns lodging (free pickup included), Cairns at 11:45 AM Mondays, return time 7:00 AM.
The Dive
On this trip you will visit all of the world-class dive sites on the northern Great Barrier Reef, as well as one or more of the remote and amazing Coral Sea Reefs.
We can't say enough about any dive trip that visits both these areas, the diving is varied, the dive conditions consistently excellent, and you will definitely enjoy the high standard of care while staying aboard the boat; the Spirit of Freedom is known for it's comfortable cabins, outstanding staff, and great food.
All told you will make up to 24 memorable dives, on the best dive sites this region has to offer.

The Boat
The Spirit of Freedom was added to the Cairns dive fleet in 2002. She is a beautiful vessel, custom built by her first owner and lovingly cared for. Recently our of a major refit, the boat is a beauty.
The boat has 11 cabins, each with it's own bathroom/shower. The cabins are all spacious, air-conditioned and nicely appointed. There are three separate decks, giving a great deal of room to roam. The boat includes electronically activated huill stabilizers, which combined with her 122-foot length make her one a very stable and comfortable dive vessel.

About Spirit of Freedom
Spirit of Freedom is a relatively new company in Cairns, spun off in 2002 from Tusa Dive, one of the most respected dive operators in the area. Using Tusa Dive's fine model as a guide, the Spirit of Freedom's aim is to provide a superior live aboard dive experience for their passengers, and based on the feedback we get from their guests they are doing just that!
