Speeches Highlight Global Concerns about Climate Change.

Itís been a busy week of news regarding Global Climate Change, and thought you might find the new interesting.

Newly elected Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd address the world climate conference in Bali yesterday, following Australia signing on to the Kyoto Protocol.

Nobel Prize winner Al Gore gave an acceptance speech in Oslo, Norway this week, also focusing on the subject that concerns him most, climate change.

There are links to both video and full text versions of both speeches below. © Crikey.com.au © The Tennessean

In the process of locating links to these speeches we also noticed that Australiaís leading daily newspaper, The Australian, has added an entire section on climate news to their paper, and this section sits in 4th place in their hierarchy, after breaking news, world news, and national news. Thatís a good reflection of the level of interest and concern of the Australian public.
